I recently ordered the Chicken Hummus Platter from Shawarmaji Hiranandani, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Instead of the creamy, flavorful hummus I was expecting, what arrived was a bland and unappetizing paste made from dried peas. It was nothing like hummus – in fact, it was the worst version of it I’ve ever tasted. The texture was off, and the flavor was flat, with no hint of the smooth richness that hummus typically offers. This was a major disappointment, especially from a place I’ve enjoyed in the past. I hope they improve this dish because, as it stands, it’s not worth ordering.
