I might be a naysayer, given so many rate this place highly but frankly..too much oil and too much spice does not equal mughlai and definitely not awadhi. If you like to eat anywhere near healthy you cant eat this much oil...we just poured out the oil from the dishes and was just the oil on the top of the gravy...taste is ok..nothing great. I am not going back here.
I'm very late at penning down something for Sharif's.
I visited during the awesome Ramzan season, and the delicacies this time were awesome. I visited twice during the Ramzan festival.
Chicken Roll was prefect. I so so loved it. It was crisp and yummy. Beef Samosas were delicious.
Chicken Chakori kebabs and the others were up-to the mark too. I loved the kebabs, they were spiced and very well fried. I felt for this finger licking good food after ages. The Dalcha was average. Doodhi Halwa was okay. Puri with halwa was something I liked here.
Malpua was delicious. So delicious that I took some for home :D I loved the Shahi Tukda. That's what they call as Qubani ka meetha in Hyderabad.
Overall, it was a good, quality time spent here. Too good for the price and standards.
1) Unbelievable collection of Non veg Delicacies
2) Equally unbelievable pricing
3) Great taste.
4) Speedy service.
5) Authentic Lucknowi Taste
6) You could munch on the starts outside the main dining area (like a street food vendor)
7) Quite a huge Dinning area
Minuses ! :(
