I visited OM Shanti Shanti Café after reading great things, and it truly lived up to the name, It’s a peaceful gem in the heart of Rishikesh! I originally stopped by for a drink and was warmly welcomed with kind smiles and great energy. To my surprise, the café now offers free morning meditation and yoga sessions for customers, a beautiful touch that adds to the whole experience. The menu is extensive and full of delicious options, so whether you’re after healthy eats or a refreshing drink, they’ve got you covered, however, what really sets this place apart is the absolutely breathtaking view of the Ganga River. I found myself lounging on their comfy pillows, sipping a cold drink, and just soaking in the peaceful vibes. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. Everyone at the café made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, and the relaxed, soulful atmosphere makes it a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Note that the entrance isn’t immediately obvious, as it’s tucked behind a shop. But once you’re nearby, just ask around and locals will happily point you in the right direction.
