Come here for nicely cooked sambar and tasty idli if you are hungry. It's easy to find this restaurant due to the convenient location. The positive aspect of Shanti Coffee Bhawan is that the staff is well-trained. Enjoyable service is something clients like here. The lovely atmosphere will be a good addition to nice meals and great location of this place. 4.4 is what this spot received from the Google rating system.

ghuguni was not fresh and tasted unhealthybut onion rawa dosa and puri was good...and curry given with dosa was also good..but that white chutny was not good

I have visited a gem of Breakfast eateries in Berhampur- The food capital of odisha— Shanti Coffee Bhawan, a 60-year-old iconic eatery tucked away in the heart of Berhampur. This place truly lives up to its legacy. I tried their Rawa Dosa, Puri with Onion patato Curry, Chutney, and Upma, and every item was bursting with traditional South Odia flavors. The Rawa Dosa was crisp and perfectly golden, served hot and fresh. The Puris were fluffy and light, paired beautifully with the mildly spiced, comforting onion patato curry — a classic combo done right. The Upma was soft, well-cooked, and had that old-school touch, while the chutney added a refreshing zing to the meal. What makes this place special is not just the food, but the authentic ambiance that reminds me of simpler older times. It’s clear why this spot has stood the test of time. I must recommend this place to everyone who wants to taste the authentic south odia breakfast at least once in a life time.
