After a long walk around Smrithi Bhavan, visit this restaurant and have a rest here. The spectacular service is always a pleasure. But Hotel Shanthala hasn't earned a high rating from Google users.

Small outlet for quick catch-up either with friends or coming out of hospital. Not to look for any fancy items. It has been there for decades. Food is tasty. Tried the Gobi Manchurian. There are plenty of vege options. Servers are effective and prompt. They have many customers so sometimes they are busy. Not a place to look out for ambience per se. It is relatively clean and well ventilated. One needs to go down a few steps, so during rains may affect the seating. I've had masala puri, fried rice and Gobi Manchurian here. It's good enough for the price.
