Ramadan in Mumbai is synonymous to visiting Shalimar Restaurant in Mohammad Ali Road for me! No visit to Mohammad Ali Road is complete without visiting this iconic Restaurant! Year on year they have been able to maintain the same high level of taste - The Mutton Nihari, Mutton Biriyani, Reshmi Paratha, Kebabs - are absolutely mouth-watering! The service is good and fast. There’s always some waiting (especially during Ramadan), but then the fast service and the large seating capacity (spread across 2 floors) ensures the wait time is not that much!
