Yet another overhyped place in guwahati. This place is probably the second bakery in entire India.They used to supply bakery products to the british back in the days. The founder of this place hailed from Dhaka (undivided India) and were into constuction business during the british era. Nowadays this place is mostly famous among the muslim community of Guwahati. This place sticks to its old heritage making their product in the old fashioned way..using exceptional amounts of Dalda (margarine) and maida. Their puffs are dripping in Dalda that could almost give you a heart attack. The pastries are just normal cakes covered with layers of whipped cream...not sponge at all. The taste is very average. You can find much better products at cheaper price nowadays around Guwahati. Ekhet xokole nijor karikor bur bahiror pora training diyai anisil...aru ingredients bur o bahiror pora e anisil. Etiya o jibur karikor aase xaibur o...xai agor karikor burore xontan. Etiya axomiya lora aase kintu salesman/helper he..karikor nohoi. Saikh brothers bakery sthapon koribo le..british xokole xihote ai mati dukhor grant korisil. Ekeht xokole jitu bread bonai tat jitu yeast bebohar kore xaitu xai tahani (1857) dinore e yeast..xai tetiyare culture etiya o bebohar kore. Xaikarone Saikh brothers or jitu breador smell (yeast or smell).xaitu apuni kunu bread ot e napai..xihote kintu kunu essence bebohar nokore breadot. The elders (whom I'm seeing since school days) are warm and nice. Would appreciate if the boys are 'lil bit more' professional. Hope, they serve the customer who came first rather than the pretty girl who came much later. Food is great tho Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
