I stopped by Shagun Hotel, right opposite Dadar Railway Station, hoping for a refreshing lassi given its convenient location and reputation as a popular vegetarian spot. Unfortunately, the lassi was a major letdown. At ₹120 per glass, I expected something special, but the taste was mediocre at best—lacking the creamy richness and balanced sweetness you’d expect from a good lassi. It felt like a watered-down version, not worth the hype or the price. Shagun’s lassi felt like a waste of money, especially since ₹120 is steep for what you get in Mumbai’s street food scene. The ambiance of the restaurant is average, and while the staff wasn’t rude, they didn’t seem particularly attentive either. I’ve heard their Pav Bhaji is decent, but based on this lassi experience, I’m hesitant to try more. If you’re craving a lassi near Dadar Station, skip Shagun and explore other local spots for better value and taste. Save your ₹120 for something that actually delivers! #ShagunHotel #DadarEats #LassiReview #MumbaiFood Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: Opp dadar station Dietary restrictions: Not sure
