Do not order the kim chi fried rice. It's dangerously spicy. I love spicy food but this is uncomfortably spicy. One bite is enough to send a seasoned spicy food connoisseur running for a glass of water and breaking into a sweat. Rest of the food is average. Sadly not authentic at all. Food: 1 Meal type: Dinner

Visited Seoul Bunsik restaurant recently and tried the kimchi chicken fried rice and chicken rabboki. The kimchi chicken fried rice was satisfying, with a generous portion, rich flavor, and just the right level of spice. The rice was well-cooked and the chicken pieces added a delicious, savory note to every bite. The balance of tangy kimchi with juicy chicken made it a standout dish. The chicken rabboki was another highlight. The rice cakes and ramen were perfectly coated in a spicy and creamy gochujang sauce, resulting in a bold and hearty flavor. The chicken was tender and complemented the chewy texture of the tteok. Both dishes were served hot and fresh, capturing the comfort and umami-rich experience expected from authentic Korean cuisine. The restaurant’s ambiance was inviting, and the staff was attentive throughout the meal. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful Korean dishes in a relaxed setting. Would recommend the kimchi chicken fried rice and rabboki to anyone craving a satisfying, spice-forward meal.
