Many people come to enjoy perfectly cooked brownies, cupcakes and chocolate cakes. Food delivery is a big plus of Senthamizh Treats (Cloud Kitchen). The staff is terrific that's what makes this place so good. Fine service is something clients agree upon here. There is pleasant atmosphere at this spot. Last year when we ordered cake for my husband's birthday, it was absolutely delicious. This time, however, the cake was too dry. It tasted good, but the dry cake texture ruined the experience. Felt like they had just used an old cake base and put fresh cream on it. Even our friends who tasted it pointed it out. Was quite disappointed. Edit: Since the owner has taken the time and pains to respond, I would like to add that yes we had waited for 60 mins and it was still dry. Maybe we should have waited the full 90 mins. And since the owner is insisting that the bases are fresh, I would like to give him/her the benefit of the doubt. I look forward to ordering more items and providing positive reviews in the future. I hope the cake was consumed at room temperature? If not, it would have been dry and underwhelming. We advise our clients to leave the cake out of the fridge for 45-90 minutes before slicing (more time is required during monsoon/winter). We have mentioned the same on our website too… If you don’t have the time, heat the individual slices in the microwave in 3 second bursts until brought to the desired consistency. We DO NOT stock up on sponges to be used later. Besides our cheesecakes & threeobroma, EVERYTHING ON OUR MENU is prepared fresh against orders. You’re welcome to visit our kitchen anytime if that’s what it takes to reassure you. We were wondering how it could taste old and good simultaneously?! I wish you had taken the time to reach out to us over a call or message for better clarity on this before publicly branding our cakes as stale and old.
