Sekhmet Club, located in possibly the best locality in the city for pubs, is not a bad way to spend your Friday evening.After completing the customary formalities with the bouncers because we were a group of Stags, we headed to the first floor of what was fairly good ambience.The decor was more form than function with most of the chairs being less than comfortable.We ordered a Sekhmet passion mocktail and vegetarian nachos. The mocktail selection is pretty narrow and the drink was alright. Nachos tasted great. The veggie pizza was the best part of the food with a thin crust and lots of fresh cheese and veggies.Service was prompt. The place was packed and the DJ was very accommodating although the music became a bit too loud as it got later into the night.I wanted to check this place out and it does an ok job of delivering on the hype. Overall, a good addition to Chennai nightlife.
