I had one of the worst dining experiences today at Seasonal Tastes, The Westin Velachery. Considering the high buffet price, the food was not worth it at all. Though there were many varieties, the taste and overall quality were very average and did not meet expectations. It was extremely disappointing. The customer experience made it even worse. Whenever we asked for food from the live counter, we were told “it will take another 30 minutes” in a very unhelpful rude tone and bad attitude. What was most irritating was the lack of privacy. The staff kept standing very close, continuously watching what we were talking about and what we were eating, which made us very uncomfortable. When customers are paying a premium price, they deserve basic respect, clear communication, privacy, and the freedom to choose their food without attitude or delays. This experience was truly disappointing, and the management needs to seriously address these issues in terms of food quality, staff training, attitude, and customer handling Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Lots of varieties in buffet, taste was fantastic. Must try buffet in Chennai. There was live music and a magician act, which was added entertainment. Valet parking available, seating arrangement was nice. Live kitchen option in addition to the buffet menu. Only difficultly was locating where to start, trying to find where the starters where placed, where the main course was, kinda confusing. Pathetic service for a 5 star Marriot hotel. I have to ask 4 times for water, 3 times for spoon, 3 times for pasta, 5 times for pani poori but it was not given at all. I asked him why and he has given me yet and reason he said was no plates. There were 200 plates in the wall pillars and the restaurants design was with plates and he was saying no plates, so he didn't gave and he never gave and left. Very poor. When asked water the people in coat tell people in grey dress to give water and again they say to him and again they say to him. He is not ready to give and they neither not ready to give. We are not asking them to take the plates just asking water but they are not giving. Billing takes 40 minutes. Not sure why they take 40 minutes to generate a bill. Update - They are considering the feedback seriously. Thanks Nitesh for considering my feedback. Hope to see a better service next time. Pros. Food wise lot of varieties for both veg and non veg.
