Average food, taste wise also. For a premium price the food options were severally limited. Starters limited, some of them tastes horrible. I had better experience in Taj Blr. Overall not recommended and waste of money. Better go bbq nation.

We visited Seasonal Tastes, Westin Kolkata on 16th November 2025 for my son’s birthday dinner (booking for 13–15 people), and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had, especially from a 5-star, Marriott-managed hotel.1. Booking Mishandled – 40 minutes standingEven with a confirmed reservation, the staff couldn’t trace our booking. We, including ladies, had to stand for almost 40 minutes. When finally found, they arranged separate tables, not the reserved setup.2. Live Counters a Complete MessOnly one staff per counter. Huge lines. Extremely slow service.Fish counter served Tilapia, Pangas & Bhola Bhetki — the cheapest quality fish, definitely not acceptable at 5-star pricing.3. No Supervision on the FloorNobody managing the crowd or service. The restaurant felt chaotic and directionless.4. Dessert & Ice-Cream Counters in Terrible ConditionIce-cream fully melted as there was no staff attending the section.Replenishment was slow, bowls & cutlery missing, entire area looked mismanaged.5. Poor Table ServiceWater not served unless called multiple times.Tables not cleared.Buffet dishes took too long to be refilled.6. Birthday Celebration MishandledCake came only after several reminders.No candle, no help from staff, no attempt to make it special.We ended up lighting a matchstick to cut the cake — shocking for a 5-star restaurant.7. No One Took Guest FeedbackSurprisingly, no staff approached us after dinner for feedback or experience capture.Overall: Absolutely Not Worth the PriceThis experience was not even at a 2-star level, let alone a luxury property.Extremely mismanaged, no supervision, poor service, poor food quality — a complete disappointment on a special occasion.Customers should be aware of what they might face here.
