Outstanding Service at Sea Lounge – Thank You, Kavya! My experience at the Sea Lounge at Taj Mumbai was made truly memorable because of Kavya. From the moment I was seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly gracious. Her service was thoughtful and personalized, and she genuinely made me feel special throughout the visit. Kavya’s professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels so sincere and effortless. She is a true asset to the Taj, and I’ll definitely be returning because of her. Highly recommended! Had a dinner snack at the Sea Lounge . Disappointing . After reading all the glowing reviews , expected more. First, had to wait as the "High Tea" was not completed. 20 minutes later led to a table facing the sea. Beautiful view. Then the fun began. We were asked if we would like the alcohol menu. We said yes and were given the main menu. 15 min later , just stopped one of the passing waiters, who made their presence clear by dropping cutlery, clinking glasses, almost tripping over , with all the grace of a baby elephant. My partner almost jumped up to assist the waiters fearing for their safety. Ordered water and Pani Puri and Massla Chai. The meal finally came but not before we were served three times the wrong dishes, not sure how they kept mistaking us for someone else. Have tasted Pani Puri before and this was quite bland, matching nicely with the bland over milky tea. Overall the experience was a damp squib, not something one would expect in such a renowned institution. The great Mr Tata would have expected more. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
