Savoy offers budget friendly meals with a variety of options including non-veg food. The prices are a bit too high and the chairs, tables and staff at the bar need improvement. Overall, Savoy is a great place to hangout with friends and enjoy some drinks.
Almost a century old property, renovated really well in the last 5 years or so. There's lodging available, a restaurant and an open cafetaria facing a well maintained beautiful lawn and a separate beer wine parlour inside. I've tried both the restaurant and the cafeteria - the lunch meals, the dinner Kerala parotta and the chicken curries, the juices were all good. Visited the Savoy Hotel, Kannur, Kerala, nearly a month ago, when I was in Kannur. Heard about this place but never had any chance in the past. Went in to have some traditional Kerala Lunch and very much enjoyed it. There are multiple Air conditioned cottages and dining rooms with great customer service available. Beer and wine parlours are also available in Air conditioned and non air conditioned. Did not get a chance to try out the different menu options but will definitely try them again soon in the future. A bit of history : The Savoy Hotel in Kannur, India, is reportedly over 75 years old, and it was originally an Army Barracks, known as the Cannanore Club for the exclusive use of the British. It was later converted into the Savoy Hotel. The hotel has few air-conditioned cottages, a few non-air-conditioned rooms, and a large bar.
