The place has a vintage style Beer and Wine parlor with an open area where one can enjoy fresh air. The ambiance is really good and the staff is friendly. Savoy offers budget friendly meals with a variety of options including non-veg food. The prices are a bit too high and the chairs, tables and staff at the bar need improvement. Overall, Savoy is a great place to hangout with friends and enjoy some drinks.

We had an incredibly frustrating experience at this restaurant. Despite waiting patiently, we were ignored for about an hour (we had to urge someone to take our order) while others who came after us were served first. When my dad enquired the supervisor about this, instead of offering an explanation or even basic courtesy, he made a face at him completely unprofessional and disrespectful. A restaurant of this caliber should be able to do much better. Good food means nothing if the service is this poor. We ultimately had to leave, deeply disappointed. If management cares about their reputation, they should reconsider who they put in charge. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hotel Savoy, what an experience! Nestled right in the heart of the city with a lovely ambience, it really sets the stage for what could have been a fantastic meal. Could have been. But why waste time serving all customers fairly when you can play favorites instead? We arrived early, ordered something as basic as Kerala meals, and then enjoyed the delightful activity of waiting. And waiting. And watching others—who arrived much later—get their food while we sat there like invisible beings. After nearly an hour of this top-tier hospitality, we had no choice but to leave empty-stomached and full of disappointment. Kannur, a city renowned for its food and warm hospitality, truly deserves better than this disgrace of a restaurant. If you’re looking for a meal, I suggest you try literally anywhere else. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
