Appi shack is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Affordable prices are to be expected at this place. As clients see it, the atmosphere is nice here. The average rating of this spot on Google is 4.1.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Appi Shack in North Goa. The staff were rude and completely ignored us. When I requested to use the washroom, a female staff member told me that I had to buy something first. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. What made the experience worse was the clear discrimination. The staff seemed very attentive to foreign customers while completely ignoring Indian customers. I don’t understand why this kind of behavior still exists everyone deserves to be treated equally, regardless of where they are from. During my vacation, I visited several other shacks in Goa and was treated with respect everywhere else. Unfortunately, Appi Shack was the only place where I faced such behavior. If the management team of this shack reads this, I strongly urge you to train your staff to treat all customers equally. No one deserves disrespect or discrimination

Very disappointing experience at Ape Shack. We were ignored while Western customers were served first. Staff were rude and applied different rules to us. We were told to spend ₹1000 to remove bed charges, which other nearby shacks don’t do and which wasn’t asked of other customers. The way we were treated made us feel judged by our skin color. Hospitality should be equal for everyone. Sadly, it wasn’t here. Would not recommend.
