Hotel Satkar - A Hidden Gem for Travellers near Baramunda Bus Stand, Bhubaneswar If you’re traveling via NH16 and passing through Baramunda, Bhubaneswar, especially around the Baramunda Bus Stand, then Hotel Satkar is an absolute must-visit for a hearty meal. This roadside hotel is located right next to the Shyamoli Parivahan Bus Office, making it a prime choice for bus travelers and commuters. Despite being set up on the footpath, Hotel Satkar stands out for its quick service, crowd-pulling taste, and traveller-friendly menu. It’s always bustling with people, and once you taste the food, you’ll know exactly why! I recently tried their Naan with Tadka and also the Egg Tadka, and I must say – the flavors were spot on! The naan was soft, well-baked, and paired perfectly with the spicy, aromatic tadka. It’s comfort food at its finest, especially after a long journey. The freshness of ingredients, especially the chopped onions and masalas, is clearly visible even at the stall. What sets Hotel Satkar apart is their commitment to serving hot, fresh meals with a home-cooked feel, which is exactly what a traveler looks for. They don't provide proper menu card. On top of that the food is overpriced. Basically anyone new to the place are being charged more than what the food would've been costed. Rude behavior of staffs. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: ₹1–200
