Savor Chinese food that will combine many elements of culinary traditions. Good paneer is the recipe for success of this restaurant. Professional service is something guests appreciate here.
I had the Chicken Biriyani and Coke that they advertised outside their restaurant. When I asked for the bill, the bill value was significantly larger than what was advertised. When I asked them why they said it was an old advertisement that was not valid.
Also, the Chicken Biriyani was horrible. I have had better Biriyani at smaller places on this road.
On the drive back from Gauribidnur via the Dodballapur Road and faced with ravenous appetites of all members on the journey we turned into Sai Leela and lunched at their multi-cuisine restaurant Satgun that serves a buffet in the afternoon.
Small place with a decent ambience and a pretty huge spread on the buffet. Chicken Tikka Masala, sholay kebab, chicken dum biryani, salads, rasam and rice, dal butter fry, veg korma, paneer shahi korma, paneer tikka, gulab jamun and ice cream with a bread basket at your table. All this at 400/- plus taxes per head.
The food was pretty good as was the service. In fact the sholay kebab and paneer shahi korma were superb. The rest of the dishes were average with the chicken dum biryani being the only dish below average as the meat was extremely fibrous.
A nice place to check in when you are tired which will give you decent, wholesome and inexpensivd food covering all tastes. They serve alcohol as well so if you are in the mood for a beer that base is covered as well. This place is worth visiting only if you are in that area and scores over the other options not just because of its food and price but also the fact that as its a hotel the rest rooms are clean and usable.
We come all the way and go back?
