In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Wankhede Stadium, stop by this restaurant. The menu of Indian cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is great at this place. To try nicely cooked breakfast sandwiches, lemon rice and chinese rice is a really good idea. Come here for good caramel ice cream, rice cakes and jelly dessert if you are hungry. It's time to degustate delicious rum, wine or bitter. Here you can have great juice, milkshakes or ice tea.

Worst Avoid Run The Kheema pav was good but the rest were trash. We tried Kheema pav, Chicken Dhansak with rice. Rice was stale and felt like it was a week old cooked rice. The place was empty. Bread pudding was not good. Lagnu Nu custard was bad. This place should be shut. The staff behave as if they're not getting paid for working here. Only cash accepted. Stepping into Sassanian feels like walking into a time capsule aged tiles, vintage mirrors, and that unmistakable old-world Irani café charm. You can almost picture Bollywood legends sipping chai here once upon a time. Now let’s talk food; Mawa Cake: Soft and nostalgic, though slightly underwhelming on flavor. Still, it has that old-school appeal. 3.5/5 Bread Pudding: Sadly didn’t live up to the legacy. A bit too soggy and bland for our taste. 2/5 Caramel Pudding: Smooth and sweet, but lacked that rich, caramel depth. Still a decent pick if you love simple desserts. 3/5 Bhurji Pav: Star of the show! Perfectly spiced, comforting, and a total mood. Highly recommend. Veg Puff: Stuffing was tasty, but the outer pastry felt oily; could use some refinement. Friend said the chicken puff was "just okay" too. Spent ₹400 for 2, Value for money considering the ambiance and legacy. Overall: 3/5 Would I go again? Maybe not for the food, but absolutely for the experience. The café has character, history, and a charm that’s fading in today’s fast-food era.
