After a walk around ITC Park, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Taste perfectly cooked fried chicken, biryani and seafood. Sasarwadi is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A number of people note that the dishes have average prices. You will appreciate the good decor and lovely atmosphere of this place. This spot scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

I recently dined at Sasarwadi in Belapur and was very disappointed with the billing experience. While the food (Veg Thali and Chicken Thali) was decent, what really left a bad impression was the extra 5% “Staff Contribution” added on top of the standard GST (which is already 5%). This additional 5% charge was not informed beforehand and is not a government-mandated tax. It feels unfair to force customers to pay more under the guise of staff support - especially when no consent was taken. Tips should be voluntary, not disguised as mandatory charges on the bill. Overall, a disappointing experience due to this unethical billing practice. Won’t be coming back, and I hope they reconsider this hidden charge if they value returning customers.
