The way you know this is genuinely a local non touristy place in goa is when your asked "how you found this place" by a cop who caught you 2 hours before for not having a license. Bang average though not going to lie Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I recently tried the Goan Fish Thali at Sarvodaya Restaurant (Calangute) and it was a true local experience. The thali is simple, authentic, and budget-friendly, exactly how a Goan thali should be. The fish curry had the perfect balance of flavors, and the fried fish was fresh and tasty. Don’t expect luxury ambience here – it’s a small, no-frills restaurant with homely vibes, but that’s what makes it special. Service can get a little slow during rush hours, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. For anyone looking to enjoy a traditional Goan fish thali at a very reasonable price, Sarvodaya is definitely one of the best options in Calangute.
