Unprofessional and Rude Behavior by the Owner I recently visited Sarvodaya Restaurant, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing due to the owner’s behavior. I ordered a prawn thali, but the staff mistakenly served prawn masala fry instead. When I pointed out the error, the waiter simply put the same prawn masala fry onto a thali with rice, curry, and veggies and brought it back. I didn't make a fuss about this and went on to order an additional portion of prawn masala fry, enjoying the meal despite the initial mix-up. However, the issue arose when I received the bill and politely asked the owner how many prawns are typically included in their prawn thali. Her response was shockingly rude. She dismissively said, "We put this much only, and this is our price." I clarified that I wasn’t questioning the price but merely asking about the portion size. Instead of addressing my query, she sarcastically commented to her staff, calling me "another sample person." When I asked why she was behaving so aggressively, her response was even more shocking. She said, "Who are you to ask? This is the way I am. Do you even know me to ask me this?" She then instructed her staff to tell customers the rates upfront, implying I had an issue with paying, which was far from the truth. To make matters worse, she made a snide comment to my companion, saying, "Whom did you get?" and loudly remarked that "people don’t have money and come here." This was both unprofessional and embarrassing, especially in front of other guests and her staff. As a successful business owner myself, I know the importance of treating customers with respect, even when there are misunderstandings. This incident wasn’t about the money or the portion; it was about basic courtesy, which was severely lacking. I would strongly advise against visiting Sarvodaya Restaurant if you value good service and respect. The owner’s behavior was outright pathetic, and the whole experience was unnecessarily humiliating. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600
