I recently placed an order from Sarvodaya Restaurant, Bharuch, through Zomato, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The food was delivered in an unsealed and loosely packed polythene bag, which immediately raised concerns about hygiene and safety. In today’s time, when proper packaging and sealing are basic expectations, receiving food like this was very unprofessional. The quantity of sambhar provided was very less, almost negligible compared to what is usually served with a dosa. It felt incomplete and did not justify the order value. The dosa itself was average in taste — crispness was acceptable, but the filling of potatoes inside did not appear to be fresh. The quality of the masala was below expectations, lacking both freshness and the typical authentic flavor. Another point worth mentioning is that the restaurant is still relying heavily on plastic and polythene for delivery. This is not just unhygienic but also against the current guidelines and environmental responsibility expected from food businesses. Most good restaurants have moved to eco-friendly or at least sealed packaging, but this place hasn’t adapted yet. Overall, while Sarvodaya may have a decent reputation for dining-in, the delivery experience I had left me dissatisfied.
