Guests enjoy the sights of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and reserve a table for good meals here. Good paneer, biryani and khichdi will impress you at the first bite. Most visitors mention that the staff is cute. Service at this restaurant is something one can name fine. Most of the time, the lovely atmosphere is to be found here. If you're in the mood for a basic Punjabi meal without high expectations, Sardar Ji Punjabi Dhaba gets the job done — but don’t expect anything extraordinary. The food quality is average: Dal Makhani was creamy but lacked depth of flavor. Paneer dishes were okay — fresh enough, but missing the rich, smoky taste you'd expect from a true Punjabi tandoor. Rotis and naans were soft and served hot, which was a plus. Butter Milk was decent — not too heavy. The ambience is dhaba-style, simple and no-frills, which works fine if you're just looking for a quick bite. Hygiene was acceptable but could be improved.
