We visited kovalam beach and had our breakfast, lunch and dinner at Santana restaurant. The service is good and food is excellent. The quantity is also good. Overall value for money. Nivin helped us whenever v visited. Keep the good work. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is good and service by navin is really excellent and we have ordered tandoori prawns and prawns we need to select live and we eat chicken 65 , chicken white sauce pasta and chicken noodles . Extremely disappointing experience that left a lasting negative impression. While the food was passable, the behavior and attitude of the staff overshadowed everything else, reflecting a deeply troubling servile mindset. I witnessed an Indian family politely requesting a front table with a sea view, only to face dismissive and rude behavior from two waiters. They blatantly claimed the table was reserved, and when the family inquired about availability for the next day, they responded that it was booked for the next four days. Their demeanor and tone were unprofessional and condescending, making it clear that the family was being unfairly sidelined. This kind of treatment felt like blatant discrimination, prioritizing profits and certain guests over fairness and respect for their own people. It was disheartening to see such bias in action, especially in a place where hospitality should be a priority. What made it worse was the smug attitude of the waitstaff, who seemed more interested in asserting authority than providing a welcoming experience. When a restaurant undermines its guests and treats them unequally, the taste of the food and ambiance become irrelevant. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the staff but also tarnishes the reputation of the establishment. This wasn’t just bad service—it was outright disrespectful, discriminatory, and a glaring failure in basic hospitality standards. Deeply disappointing on every level.
