Their litti chokha is amazing.
If you're in the area, it's a must try.
Though it's a bit overpriced for the area.
Raw yet relevent, with that smoky flavour of charcoal adding to the rustic experience along the ghat of calcutta.
It's not only about the food here but the ambience with a sip of kesari chai is what makes this place more special.
The dish itself is a product of rural Bihar. It costs about 40 Rupees a plate, containing 5 litti balls and aloo chokha. I would be doing it a disservice by trying to describe it in words, I do not have the appropriate vocabulary to do this dish justice, it's that good. I strongly recommend that you go out there and try it out for yourself. If you haven't heard of this dish and are a bit skeptical or intimidated to go and try a new dish, don't be, trust me on this one. Go out and have Litti Chokha from this place and you won't be disappointed.
The price is a tad bit much but this dish makes up for it. So the bottomline that you should be taking away is that you should go and have this dish. I'm glad to have found and tried this place out. Go ahead and try it for yourself, you'll feel the same.
