Nicely cooked cutlets and good kheer will impress you at the first bite. Food delivery is a big benefit of this restaurant. Many people say that the staff is knowledgeable here.
A good cozy place with a really friendly and well informed proprietor. The sweets are really good. I most likes the "Rasharaj". The savouries are even better. During the day time especially on weekends they serve the specialty "Radha Ballabi" with "Aloor Dum". This place is also ideal for ordering food or catering for parties. The items are fresh as the proprietor takes particular care.
This is a bad seeet shop who doesn't have even the courtesy to accept customers offer if it is even more than 99, as per their clause...they didn't accept orders if they feel not to deliver because it is small amount, although they charge 50 rupee for delivery...this sort of shops/restaurants should be closed and removed from Zomato...highly unprofessional m, highly unacceptable. Jodi owner ei number ta ami petam, ekta sms kore auorer bachcha likhtam.
Back in Gurgaon after 10 years of Mumbai living, when we heard about Sandesh, we were bboth elated and cynical. Elated because, we now didn't have to drive for an hour to go to C R park for our shots of mishtis. Cycnical, 'cause we wondered if Sandesh was as good as the shops of CRPark.
And so we bought 2 each of our favourites in order to make them go through the litmus test. The Roshogollas passed with flying colours as they are the authentic chana types, full and not spongy at all. The Sandesh we bought were good enough. Jayanta rated the Kheer Kodombos 7/10, he being a huge lover of the ones we buy from Sweet Bengal in Mumbai. As for my favourites, the Lobongo Lotikas -- they were way off the mark. Not dipped enough in sugar syrup, they were dry. And then, the mawa filling tasted like that of gujiyas, what with mawa and elaichis!
We will definitely go back for the Roshogollas. And next time round, we try their shingaras and radhabollobhis.
