What a delightful kerala canteen in the heart of Delhi! Samridhi Canteen at Kerala House is quite simply the most authentic Kerala dining experience you'll find in the capital, and at prices that seem almost too good to be true. The vegetarian meals, served with pristine Matta rice, fragrant sambar, and two varieties of perfectly spiced subzis, are an absolute steal at just ₹50 for unlimited portions. The food is genuinely home-style cooking - exactly what you'd expect in a traditional Kerala household. While the setting is wonderfully unpretentious and functional, the focus here is entirely on the food - and rightly so! The sambar deserves special mention; they serve it in generous portions, and the flavour is spot-on. For non-vegetarians, their chicken dishes are particularly noteworthy. Yes, the menu isn't extensive, but what they do serve is cooked to perfection. The canteen's no-frills approach actually adds to its charm - this is real food for real people, served with warmth and efficiency. Do note that it can get quite busy during peak lunch hours, but the quick service ensures you won't be waiting long. Ok ok. I recently ate at the Kerala House Samridhi Canteen. The food was just okay, and I wasn't impressed with the hygiene. It seems like a popular spot, because there was a bit of a wait to get a seat. If you're looking for a quick and affordable meal, this place might be okay, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a delicious or high-quality dining experience. Today, I visited Kerala House canteen. The person who are taking money and giving coupon for food, was very slow. I feel that he was not just in mood of working, he was sitting there just for duty. I went there at 1:05 PM and I got the coupon at 1:40 PM. Near about 30 people were in the que at the time, I reached there.

First time I saw table were available but the person with coupon were not waiting. A lot of people were standing in the que to get the coupon.

One more thing, these days person they serving the food. Their behavior's are also changed. They are not happily serving the food. When you are asking for something, they will give you the look or they will avoid to serve you. If you will asking again and again then will serve you. Rasam and Mor they trying to not serve you.

Food was good. But behaviors is not good. Canteen is always good for Kerala House's Staff.

This is my opinion. I am having food in Kerala House, when the Veg Meal was just Rs. 20/- and the Fry Fish was just Rs. 20/-
