I recently had the opportunity to dine at Samrat Hotel on Ambivali Station Road in Mohone. My experience was a mix of positives and areas needing improvement. To start with the good, the non-vegetarian dishes here are exceptional. The flavors are rich, and the quality of the meat is evident in every bite. From the chicken curry to the mutton biryani, each non-veg dish was well-prepared and delicious. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of effort into perfecting these recipes, and it shows. On the other hand, the vegetarian dishes left much to be desired. The flavors were bland, and the dishes lacked the same level of care and attention given to the non-veg items. As someone who occasionally enjoys vegetarian meals, I found this disappointing. Improving the taste and quality of the vegetarian options would make a significant difference and appeal to a wider range of customers. The hospitality at Samrat Hotel is another strong point. The staff is friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. They make you feel welcome and ensure that your dining experience is pleasant. Their prompt service and attentiveness greatly enhance the overall dining experience. However, one area that needs improvement is the cleanliness of the establishment. While the dining area is generally tidy, there were noticeable lapses in cleanliness, especially in the washrooms and certain corners of the restaurant. Addressing these issues would not only improve the overall ambiance but also reflect better on the hotel's standards.
