On one hand, you were hoping for a pizza with more toppings and less bread, which this place didn't quite deliver. It's a bummer when expectations don't meet reality, especially when you're craving a specific style of pizza. However, it's fantastic that you found the taste to be excellent, and the reasonable price and friendly owner are definitely big pluses. It's interesting how different aspects of the experience can leave such contrasting impressions. Perhaps this spot is great for its specific style and taste, just not the "more stuff, less bread" type of pizza you were after.
