If you're passing through Aryanadu and love simple, homely Kerala food, Sambhu Sankaran Hotel is a must-try. It’s a small, no-frills place, but the food is absolutely delicious. Their chicken thoran with tapioca is the highlight—flavourful, perfectly cooked, and full of that traditional touch. The service is quick, and the staff are friendly. The place gets busy during lunch hours, so it’s better to go a little early. Prices are very reasonable, and the food feels just like something you’d get in a Kerala home. Don't expect a fancy setup—go there for the food and that nostalgic, homely feeling. A hidden gem for sure. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food at Sambhu Sankaran Hotel is super tasty—especially the chicken thoran and chicken gravy with rice, truly delicious! However, parking is difficult as it’s on a narrow roadside. Cleanliness and kitchen hygiene need improvement. The extended dining area isn’t well organized and lacks a washbasin, with flies around. Still, I loved the food and hope they improve these areas. Would love to return if things get better! Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
