Chain of actions happening in Jaipur:. Create a taste and Vibe ------------> Open more outlets ---------> Compromise on taste & service -----> Lose the vibe & the flavour I am visiting a Sambharsa outlet after 2 years and somehow this place has moved from a South Indian food place to a franchise chain not concentrating on food or taste. Our Order:. Sambhar: Felt very ordinary. Wasn't piping hot. Was a bit watery too. Mysore Masala Dosa: Soggy, very Soggy. And apparently according to the servers, this is how Mysore masala dosa is supposed to be. Masala Idli: This was nice. Good preparation. Mysore Rawa Dosa: Again Soggy and quite unlike Rawa. Rawa s. Resonates with crispiness and yet, that was lacking. Service:. Just two waiters surviving the battle of the weekend rush and waiting. They were managing their best but they were definitely understaffed. Alphanso Mango Kulfi: Brilliant. Very nice. Absolutely delicious. Overall:. A very ordinary experience which was once an extraordinary place. Hopefully, one day, Jaipur will also think of building a Nirosha like model of winning in terms of taste and legacy and not on the franchise model because this model is nothing but a compromise in every sense.
