Worst experience on our very first family dinner visit to Salt Restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing due to multiple issues: Food quality was poor – Most dishes lacked taste. Only Palak Khichadi and Kundapura Chicken were acceptable. The Chicken Ghee Roast was especially disappointing and not worth ordering. Wrong order served – We ordered Chicken Biryani but were served Mutton Biryani, and even that tasted very bad. Incorrect beverage served – Ordered Lemon Tea but received Black Tea. When pointed out, we were just given two lemon pieces separately, which is unacceptable. Air conditioning was not working, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very unpleasant first visit with family. The service quality, food taste, and attention to basic details were far below expectations. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves.
