The great location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. The cheerful staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The spectacular service is a big plus of this spot. You will appreciate affordable prices. The enjoyable ambiance makes a positive impression on reviewers. But google users rated The Sal Woods - Forest Retreat and Spa and it didn't gain a high rating.

I recently stayed at this resort for a wedding, and honestly, it was a really disappointing experience. The owners — a mother and daughter — were completely unprofessional. Instead of handling things properly, they were acting like the receptionist and pool guard themselves, and it was obvious they had no real training in hospitality. What made it worse was that they took over rooms that had already been booked for the wedding guests — including the bride’s room, which was supposed to be specially reserved for her. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress during what should have been a happy time. Even though they claim to be highly qualified, their attitude was rude, careless, and totally out of place for a place that’s supposed to host important events. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this resort, especially if you’re planning something special like a wedding. You deserve better service and respect than what we experienced. Service: 1

Our experience at this resort for a wedding function was deeply disappointing. The behavior of the owner and her daughter was shockingly unprofessional and lacking basic courtesy. During the haldi ceremony, guests were rudely scolded for entering the pool—despite the fact that the pool is clearly part of the premises and no signage was provided to indicate it was off-limits. The owner’s approach was harsh, confrontational, and completely inappropriate, especially in the middle of a joyful celebration. Additionally, the overall service was subpar. The rooms were not properly cleaned upon check-in, and room service was consistently delayed despite multiple follow-ups. For the premium rates charged, we expected a far higher standard of hospitality and customer service. Unfortunately, the poor attitude of the management overshadowed what should have been a memorable event. I strongly advise against booking this venue for any special occasion. It is overpriced and lacks both the professionalism and warmth expected from a hospitality businesses. Service: 1

Worst experience we had in Sal Wood Resort. We booked the resort for wedding and they didn't provide us basic services. The owner of the resort was so rude, she shouted at us during our haldi function for jumping into pool. Pool was part of the premises, still that owner came and shouted at everyone of us. Also, the services was so bad we have to call them many times for basic things. Rooms were so dirty and we also found one Scorpion in our room still they did not come to remove it from our room. We had to deal with on our own. Owner of the resort misbehaved with not just everyone of us but also makeup artist. Makeup artist that was booked with bride, she told us how the owner talked rudely with her too when makeup artist refused to do her makeup.
