Beautiful place which showcases heirloom antiques and tastfully decorated utensils..owner Mr Tawade is a delight to have a conversation about history of Matheran. He shared with us the stories about the restaurant's previous parsi owner Saklatvala who wrote against the Britishers under the pen name "Sakvill" ..hence the name of the restaurant. This restaurant serves amazing ice creams ..all home made with natural ingredients..sitaphal, mango, jamun cocktail are must try. Misal pav was so good and dosa as well.
