With a gathering of 27 that had 9 vegetarians, I was at my wit’s end deciding what to do beyond paneer! As luck, good luck, would have it, my sister pinged/ liked a review on Gurgaon Foodies about SKR. Intrigued, I made hesitant inquires- lo and behold, the ever gracious and prompt owner ( not sure if I should name her on this platform) responded to my tentative queries. Within a few minutes I had my menu - Masala Arbi and UP wale Choley!
Now you must be thinking such a huge build up for mere two? I say YES, coz I tasted, relished, served and baked in the satisfaction of watching my guests dig in with renewed enthusiasm into the humble two veg offering. Delectable and lovingly seasoned, the preparations were outstanding. Even the most cynical of veg eaters went crazy over the Arbi!
Please do try - am sure they will have you hooked! As for me, am both, grateful for a great lunch I was able to host and mesmerized by the play of flavours and spices in humble food origins!
The foid is awesome with great timely deliveries and attention to detail by the chef Reema Varna makes it a worthwhile experience..
