Sainath Cheese Anguri in Surat is a pure vegetarian establishment that specializes in Punjabi cuisine. The ambiance of this eatery is bustling and crowded, with tables placed close together to accommodate the large number of customers. The interior design is simple and functional, with no frills or fancy decor. Prices here are a bit high for the location, but the taste of their signature dish, Cheese Anguri, is worth the cost. Other popular dishes include Paneer Anguri, Chinese, Cheese Paneer, and Rice. The Cheese Butter Naan is also a must-try. Parking can be a challenge, so it is recommended not to park in front of the restaurant. Vegetarians will find plenty of options to choose from on the menu.
While the service can be slow at times, the quality of the food is excellent. The Cheese Anguri is a gravy dish served with shredded cheese and cheese cubes, perfect for cheese lovers. The Paneer Patiala is another delicious option. For those looking for something to drink, they offer a variety of soft drinks and lassi. The establishment does not have a bar or outdoor seating.
The cleanliness of the place could use some improvement, but the taste of the food more than makes up for it. Overall, Sainath Cheese Anguri is a fine dining spot that should not be missed by those looking to experience authentic Punjabi cuisine in Surat.
Sainath Cheese Anguri is known for its amazing Cheese Anguri. The dish is fresh, flavorful, and worth trying. The staff is polite, but there’s often a wait for a table. Still, the taste makes it worth it. Highly recommended! We visited on New Year's Eve and found the place very crowded. We waited over an hour for our turn. We ordered their bestseller, Cheese Angoori, along with garlic naan, and the Veg 65, which was also quite tasty. We had drinks like Sosyo, Sprite, Thumbs Up, and Chaas. I hope they expand to accommodate more guests, as it would help reduce the crowd. They do have a separate counter for takeout, which is a good option if you don’t want to dine in. However, if we are dining in, they should take orders directly at the table, as we shouldn’t have to go to a separate counter for a single item in such a busy environment.
