Sai Krupa is one of the very few restaurants where I prefer to go on a regular basis as they prepare food just as it would be made at home. They basically have two varieties of items: Gujarati Thali and Punjabi Thali. My husband and I prefer to go for the Gujarati one as it is less spicy. Given below are the details of the meal:
For the Gujarati Thali, they will server you ‘Papad’, ‘Pickle’, two varieties of ‘Veg. Curry’, ‘Daal’, ‘Kadhi’, ‘Rotis with Butter’ and ‘Rice’. All these items will be served in unlimited quantity. The ‘Rotis’ will be freshly made and all other items will be served absolutely hot on plate.
At the end of the meal, they will serve you a glass of Butter Milk. The food is medium spiced and appetizing. The best part of the story is that this meal cost just Rs. 70/- per plate. I would say that this meal offers you the perfect value for money!
I always wanted to eat the traditional Rajasthani Dal Baati in Gujarat. I found some restaurants in Vadodara, Surat and Ahmedabad, but Dal Baati made by them was not upto the mark and the taste also differed.... Then I went to Gandhinagar for a job, and I found a very good restaurant with exact same taste of Rajasthani Dal Baati and they call it Dal Bafla. It was an amazing experience and taste. The prefect spicy dal and baati makes a perfect heavy meal. When garnished with onions, green coriander chatni and chilled chhas, it makes it even more yummy... Now I have shifted to Gandhinagar and I visit Saikrupa Restaurant daily to eat food. They also offer Punjabi and Gujarati Thali and a lots of variety of A La Carta food that is a must try. I am totally Satisfy with the food and their fast delivery. I suggest all of you to give it a try.
