Please NEVER be fooled by the name "Akasaka Special Chicken Soup". It was the WORST thing I have ever eaten. GLOBS of coagulated egg ('i suppose that's supposed to be eggdrop), pale, 100 % tasteless pieces of tofu and chicken, and very tough and very old green leaves floating around which were almost certainly provided free by some maali trimming hedges. Terrible experience for vegetarians. We ordered salt & pepper mushroom with beer (only Kingfisher available). The mushrooms smelled stale, almost meaty/seafood-like. Despite assurances of separate veg cooking, the taste said otherwise. When raised, the manager showed zero concern or courtesy—his attitude was arrogant and dismissive. We walked out after just one dish and a couple of beers. Regret choosing this as our fav place (4s) next door was packed . If you're vegetarian, avoid this place.
