We have been to Sagar Ratna before but this was different. Very good service and ambience. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Rasam, Dahi Vada, Idli Sambar, Ghee Masala Dosa Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

One of the best experiences in Sagar Ratna. The food is good and very very authentic. The staff is very Swift and quick to take your order and delivery to your table. They provide a good amount of condiments. Chutneys would be refilled as soon as they are exhausted. Also we needed some Jain food too so they provided things accordingly and every time they brought they specified very costly which I liked The best part was as always there with Indian food was excellent not also there North Indian was remarkable too good we had their paneer dal makni naan combo naan was soft also there lacha paratha was great They also parcel your leftovers if you want them. Ambience was great also was worth family so they provided a proper seating which was kids friendly where kids were quit manageable Recommended on my part and would want to give a shout out to their great service and food both South Indian as well as North Indian Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Though Sagar Ratna has updated its décor to fit in with its upscale neighbors, it still retains a more functional, slightly corporate tone that felt a bit out of sync with the glossier surroundings . ️ Food Experience The menu leans heavily on South Indian classics—idlis, vadas, uthapams, dosas, along with accompanying sambhar and chutneys—and they deliver admirably. I ordered Mysore masala dosa and podi idlis, along with masala buttermilk and rasam. The dosa was crisp and spiced just right; the chutneys were tangy and fresh; and the podi idlis were light and flavourful. The vadas also impressed, crisp on the outside and soft within . A friend tried the dahi vada, and practically inhaled it—turns out it was rich and tangy enough to disappear fast . Since the menu includes North Indian curries and Indo‑Chinese dishes, I tasted a dal-mutter combo from a colleague’s plate too—well‑prepared, albeit outside my main focus area. What Stood Out Reliable classics: the Mysore dosa, sambhar, chutneys and dahi vada were very good. Efficient service in a clean, quiet setting. The price feels fair for the quality and corporate convenience.
