l recently visited Sagar Gaire and tried their Manchurian and Mushroom Fried Rice. While the service was quick and the portion sizes were generous, I feel a few aspects need serious attention to enhance the overall experience. The Manchurian balls were unusually large and became overly soggy in the sauce, making them lose their texture completely. Additionally, the ginger flavor was overpowering, making it difficult to enjoy the actual taste of the dish. The Mushroom Fried Rice had a similar issue—while the quantity was good, the excessive ginger took away the balance of flavors. Moving to the ambiance, the seating arrangement felt extremely congested, leaving little to no space between tables. A bit more breathing room would make dining much more comfortable. The plating and presentation also need improvement—serving everything in a plain yellow thali gave it a street-stall vibe rather than a restaurant feel. Another important aspect was cutlery hygiene, which needs more attention, as the spoons were not clean. I genuinely believe that with a few improvements in food balance, presentation, and seating, Sagar Gaire can offer a much better dining experience. Hope to see these changes on my next visit!!
