My stay at safar was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, ali (owner) made me feel like part of the family. The hostel itself is cozy, clean, and has a really laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax. The common areas are perfect for meeting other travelers, and I ended up making some wonderful new friends during my time there. What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible hospitality from ali and team. They were always available to offer tips on what to do around the area, share great local spots, and ensure everyone felt at home. It was such a fun, social atmosphere, and I met people from diffrent parts, something I hadn’t expected to happen as easily as it did! If you’re looking for a place to stay where you can connect with fellow travelers while still feeling like you’re staying with friends, safar is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back! Service: 5

Safar is the best hostel & couple rooms in Old manali. Cafe & specially roof top was my favourite. Kitchen food was very delicious Safar owner Mr. Ali da is a very gentle man & humble person. when we were shivering with cold at 1.00am ,I requested him to arrange room heater & at that moment he arranged it for us. My friends and i stayed at Safar for a week and those 7 days were the most cherished ones. I don’t think words could ever do justice to how amazing our experience was- but hey, i’ll try! Safar truly felt like home. The rooms were spotless, cozy and very well maintained. If you're a female traveller, you'll feel completely safe and at ease here, as the staff and environment prioritise security and comfort above all. The host (Ali)? Absolute gem! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. Every meal was flavourful and made with care- all thanks to Ronny Bhaiya. And the people! The other guests were so wonderful that we ended up making some amazing friends. Oh, and how can i forget Sky and Max- the adorable dogs at Safar who made our stay even more special! If you are looking for a place that feels like home and surrounds you with good vibes and even better people, Safar is it. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Service: 5
