Excellent seafood with a wide variety of curries and dishes. We really enjoyed the food. Special thanks to Subhash Mom and Subash for the warm hospitality and delicious meals — it was a great experience. We visited Subhash Hotel based on a recommendation from a Shikara boat rider named Sijo Joseph. The restaurant is quite small and old, and it doesn’t look modern or fancy in terms of ambience. It has limited seating, but there is a dedicated parking area, which clearly shows how popular the place is. The hotel is also located beside a river, adding a nice local touch. We ordered kappa, appam, thalakkari (fish head curry), tharavu curry (duck curry), chemmeen roast, tilapia fry, and more. Everything was extremely tasty, and we were really happy with the food. Even our kid enjoyed it a lot. The pricing was very reasonable. We ordered all these items for three people and were charged only ₹800, which is great value for the quality and taste.
