SRM Chettinadu Restaurant in Urapakkam is a great spot for authentic Chettinad and South Indian food. The ambiance had a warm lighting and decent decor. Tried a variety of dishes and was definitely worth the visit. The mutton dosa stood out meaty and flavorful. Chicken dosa and chicken kothu parotta with salna were so good, and the chicken chukka was good with spicy flavor. Chicken 65 was juicy and well-marinated, Serva kalaki made for a nice finish. Onion omelette, half boil, and parotta were all good. Schezwan chicken fried rice felt a bit average. The menu is extensive, especially for non-veg lovers. Service was okay nothing exceptional, but manageable. Overall, it’s a proper Chettinad food spot and one of the better options in the area. Great taste, good variety, and affordable definitely worth a try if you're nearby.
