yesterday we oder partha and rawadosai paratha not hot and fresh. Rawa dosai was very bad.. That is maida dosai. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with this place. Coming from Pudukkottai to Thanjavur, we were searching for some place to dine and boy, this place was a pleasant surprise. We went for lunch on a Saturday noon. The food was really yummy - unlimited meals - especially try the vatthal kozhambu and more kozhambu. Service was excellent. They are always asking you for any dish that you need and don't hesitate re-serving multiple times. We were so happy that we went for breakfast the next morning. And that experience of tasty food overtook the lunch. Please do not miss the Pongal if you go here for breakfast. It was the best Pongal I have ever had. And the sambar + Chutneys along with it was equally impressive. Other items like dosai was also nice and idly was served hot (not many places do that). And economically, it cost around 500 for four of us which was very moderate considering how much we ate. Please don't miss this place if you are visiting Thanjavur. Extremely disappointing and irresponsible service Very bad experience at Sri Sivas Pure Veg Restaurant. They took our order and after 30 minutes informed us that the item was not available. When we tried to change the order, there was no response from the staff at all. Despite waiting patiently, customers who arrived much later were served before us. We were completely ignored. Because of this, we left the restaurant without eating anything. What is even more disappointing is that they did not prepare food for the kid either, which shows a total lack of care and responsibility. There was no response from management even after raising the issue. Highly unprofessional behavior. Will never visit again and do not recommend this place.
