Sri Acharya Bhavan – Great Veg Dinner at a Budget We had our dinner at Sri Acharya Bhavan on Bye-Pass Road, Madurai, and it was a lovely experience. The restaurant is on the third floor, but they have a lift, so getting there was easy. The place is clean, family-friendly, and has a comfortable A/C dining area. The best part? It’s very pocket-friendly for the quality and quantity they offer. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick with the service, which made us feel really welcome. We ordered the Kothu Parotta which was hot, tasty, and came with a nice veg kuruma. The Chapathi was big and soft, served with a delicious veg gravy – very filling and perfect for dinner. We also tried their Mini Tiffin Combo – it had idly, pongal, poori, and more. Every item was fresh and served hot, which made it extra enjoyable. To end the meal, we had their filter coffee. It was rich, strong, and just right. If you’re looking for a neat and budget-friendly place for pure veg food in Madurai, this is a great option. I ordered meals for Rs.130 and it was not worth the price. The food didn’t taste good, and the Gobi 65 had old cauliflower with a visible black layer. Really disappointed.
