Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel and restaurant. Sonar Tori is an absolute disaster on every front. First off, the rooms cost ₹1700 are a nightmare. They’re outdated, dirty, and have an overwhelming musty smell. The bedsheets looked like they hadn't been changed in ages, with stains and hairs that made us question if they ever clean at all. The bathroom was equally horrific – mold in the shower, clogged drains, and basin was not working. The AC barely worked, and when we complained, the staff seemed completely indifferent. Speaking of the staff, they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Any question or request is met with blank stares or outright attitude. We felt like an inconvenience the entire time we were there. The restaurant? Just as bad. The food took forever to arrive and when it finally did, it was cold and tasteless. I’m pretty sure some of the dishes were reheated leftovers. The waitstaff was inattentive, slow, and kept mixing up our orders. Also, prices are absurdly high for such low quality. It's a waste of time, money, and patience. Stay anywhere else but here! Hotel room was good but the pillow was very nasty all dirty spots. Without pillow protector and mattress was also Without protector. Bathroom was very dirty and there was a broken bucket and a mug that too was very dirty. We had to ask to change our linen which was done once in our five days stay. House keeping service was very poor had to ask 4 to 5 times.
Never seen Hotel like this....
