SLK - Bar & Restaurant is a place I used to visit often. Post Lockdown, we started ordering in. The other day, I went for Lunch and surprisingly, it was not crowded. We sat in the ground floor restaurant. Since we had to eat and rush back to work, we ate Vegetable Fried Rice, Paneer Manchurian, Paneer Chilly Semi Gravy and Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce. As you might have realized, I am a huge fan of Paneer Manchurian. The coating has to be perfect and the Paneer pieces must be juicy and tasty. This tasted really good with the Vegetable Fried Rice since the Manchurian was spicy and the Rice was mild. The Paneer Chilly Semi Gravy was also super spicy. Perfect for your tastebuds especially if you are having a cold. It will wake them up within seconds. The quantity is sufficient for two people. If we had visited in the evening, we would have ordered more appetizers. I wanted to eat something sweet as my tongue was still on fire! So I ordered Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce. One portion comes with two scoops of Ice Cream and a cute little bowl filled with Chocolate Sauce. Another dish which I would highly recommend is the Paneer Shashlik. The portion is quite big, so I can recommend you share it with another person. The Paneer Pieces have been cut into cubes and cooked in the Tandoor.
