The rooms are ok - clean, spacious but the bed etc are a bit old and you can see that. For example, the glass table in your room (which was glued) fell. Thankfully no one was standing near it - but it shows how everything in just holding together creating serious injury prone situations. Worse when the person came to take the table away, he first suggested we just glue it making it obvious management was aware of the problem. Instead of removing such problematic asthetics, they chose to keep it. That's dangerous esp if you have kids. Staff is helpful but clearly overwhelmed and overworked. Buffet breakfast spread is good but they don't replace the emptied ones quickly enough. But they have filter coffee and masala tea. Seating is an issue as it's crowded making seating limited. Location is good. Valet also takes a bit of time but they are efficient. Service: 4

This was the first time we stayed with Sayaji. It's one of the best place to stay with respect to location and connectivity. The ambience is amazing, the food was equally tasty and last but not the least the staff is extremely humble and courteous. We were super impressed as the bell boy too did not take the tip we offered. We would surely love to come back when ever we visit Kolhapur Service: 5

5/5 — Best Hotel in Kolhapur! My family and I — a group of six people and a baby — stayed at Sayaji Hotel, Kolhapur for two months, and I can confidently say it is the best hotel in Kolhapur. The service was truly excellent in every way. At the Blue Lotus Restaurant, the staff made every meal a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Prachi, Gopal, Warsha, Ajay, and Sonali for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. At the Moon Tree Café, Sakshi and Anikit were always friendly, attentive, and professional. The housekeeping team was amazing — our rooms were cleaned thoroughly every single day, and they were always available whenever we needed anything. The security staff were also excellent. My mom needed assistance getting in and out of the car, and they were always right there, ready to help with kindness and care. At the reception, Ashweeni Madam and Sweta Madam were incredibly helpful, patient, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the breakfast was amazing every morning. The entire team made our long stay comfortable, smooth, and truly memorable. I highly recommend Sayaji Hotel Kolhapur — a wonderful place with outstanding service. Service: 5
