I recently visited Samak Restaurant in Pondicherry and was thoroughly impressed! The fresh pomfret fish prepared in authentic Kerala style—both thava-fried and in coconut milk gravy—was absolutely excellent. The flavors were rich, traditional, and truly satisfying. I also tried their porota and chilli chicken, and both were cooked to perfection. Every dish was spot-on, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Kerala cuisine in Pondicherry! Fine dining with paper cups! The food is good when you do manage to get it. Service is terrible...paper cups because glasses aren't washed! The first time we went the food was awesome and so I took a few friends along... And this happened... Terrible let down. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
