If you're Chinese and Indian cuisine lover, come here. Many people visit this restaurant to try nicely cooked lime chicken, chinese soup and mushroom soup. Eating good gulab jamun and tasty ice cream is what many guests recommend. Delicious cordial is waiting for you at Saffron. Drink the great iced coffee, cold coffee or lemonade served here.
This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You are to be pleasantly impressed with reasonable prices at this spot. The homey decor and pretty ambiance let visitors feel relaxed here. But this restaurant has been rated below average by Google.

Good food. We ordered chinese- chilly baby corn, veg noodles and veg Manchurian was great. But paneer felt a bit odd, the taste was weird. The chicken preparation was good, the primary marination, but the dish we ordered i.e pepper chicken was not up to the mark as to their other dishes. Veg rice was the worst among all. Also they didn't have R.O water to offer, only the priced bottled water. It's not right.Their service was not at all up to the mark, when you compare in the general hospitality sectors. They were just not attentive or aware. Even though we were the only family they were serving.Ambience could be a little more engaging.

Though I was not a South Indian food lover....I tried the dosa of Saffron Food Cafe and it totally changed my point of view. I tried ~1.Egg chicken dosa- It was damn good & affordable in reasonable price. I just love it.2.Schezwan chicken dosa: It was the best item I tried. The chicken is separated in an another bowl so we can make our bite by our own.3.Lassi: A refreshing Lassi should be like this one.Location : Sodepur Station Road, Sodepur, Kolkata, West Bengal 700110For me it's a very good place to visit with friends or family. It will surely make you a south indian food fan.
